If you’re in Arizona there is something very interesting coming to town! Game On Expo is a retro gaming competition in the vein of classic Nintendo PowerFest 94′.
There will be Video games, card games, RPGs, board games and all of the pop culture and art that inspired them. They will have an interactive museum and free arcade and console area. You will have the chance to test new exclusive games and buy them, and there will be panels with industry designers and pro players.
CollectorVision Games (who create new games for classic console game systems such as ColecoVision, Atari 2600, Intellivision, Super Nintendo, and Genesis to name a few) is partnering up with Game On Expo to produce a unique new game cartridge for their Retro Championship. An original golden cartridge is included in the grand prize of the competition.
Game on Expo will be located at The Mesa Convention Center (263 N Center Street, Mesa, AZ 85201) and will take place August 28th through the 30th.
