The sequel we all knew we needed is finally arriving on July 28th!
Good Omens Season 2 will reunite the sexiest demon since Sebastian of Black Butler, Crowley and the fussiest angel this side of Heaven, Aziraphale.
Details about Season 2 are being carefully guarded. With questions normally answered with a “Wait and see.” response.
And on the 10th of May, we were given a date for season 2, and it is ineffably good. Good Omens returns July 28th on @PrimeVideo. pic.twitter.com/SULmZxjRSe

The original series was based on a standalone book, but the new season only has notes that Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman sketched out for a possible sequel 30 years ago. Fortunately Gaiman is still with us and very involved in the production! Most of what we know about Season 2 is from the panel at last year’s New York Comic Con.
“It’ll be about six episodes,” said Gaiman.
“And Aziraphale and Crowley will be in it,” added Good Omens director Douglas Mackinnon.
“I will say there are some love stories in it,” Gaiman continued. “I will say you will learn a lot about Jane Austen you didn’t know before. There’s a lot more heaven and a lot more hell.”
Prime Video released this synopsis:
Season Two of Good Omens explores storylines that go beyond the original source material to illuminate the uncanny friendship between Aziraphale, a fussy angel and rare book dealer, and the fast-living demon Crowley. Having been on Earth since The Beginning, and with the Apocalypse thwarted, Aziraphale and Crowley are getting back to easy living amongst mortals in London’s Soho when an unexpected messenger presents a surprising mystery.
The current cast line up is:
David Tennant – Crowle
Michael Sheen – Aziraphale.
Jon Hamm – Archangel Gabriel,
Doon Mackichan – Archangel Michael
Gloria Obianyo – Archangel Uriel.
Miranda Richardson, (who originally played psychic Madame Tracy) – a demon named Shax
Maggie Service and Nina Sosanya (who played nuns in the first season) – neighboring business owners (named Maggie and Nina respectively).
Quelin Sepulveda – angel Muriel
Liz Carr – angel Saraqael
Shelly Conn – demon Beelzebub (scheduling conflicts prevented Anna Maxwell Martin, who originated the role, from returning).
Good Omens Season 2 debuts on Prime Video on July 28th!
