The Supergirl TV series has been having fun with its Super Guest Stars, including Dean Cain, Helen Slater, and Laura Vandervoort.

It seems that for season 2 they have plans to add another very familiar face to comic tv series fans.  Lynda Carter, Wonder Woman herself, is rumoured to join the cast as the female president of the United States.

“We had the perfect role for Lynda Carter, and we couldn’t work [it] out [because of] her schedule.” Executive Producer Greg Berlanti said at a press conference on March 24th.  “That’s the biggest disappointment for me for this entire season.”

“We’re going to do it,” Andrew Kreisberg added. “We’ll just do it next year.”

Unfortunately Supergirl has yet to be renewed for a 2nd season.  We’ll keep our fingers crossed!
