If the rumors hold true Oscar-winner Cate Blanchett is about to dive back into the very familiar territory of epic battles between immortal armies as an all new female lead in Thor: Ragnarok, which will, of course, also star Chris Hemsworth as the God of Thunder and Tom Hiddleston as the ever popular God of Mischief.

IO9 has some pretty good guesses on what character she might play – including one of the Valkyrie – that was almost in Thor II anyway, and Amora, The Enchantress, who is a sometimes ally of Loki.

Cate Blanchett and Tom Hiddleston causing mischief for poor Chris Hemsworth’s Thor??  That would be epic!

Marvel has no official comment on the rumors yet.

Thor: Ragnarok is due in theaters on Nov. 3, 2017.
