Well, it isn’t exactly Flash Gordon, but it might as well be.

One thing Japan never fails at is some zany commercial advertising the most mundane of things, it’s part of the fun that is Japanese advertising, and this is no exception.

Nissin’s new commercial for their U.F.O. yakisoba instant noodles may be taking the UFO part a little too seriously with this 46 second B-rated Space Opera that is all about eating your Yakisoba.  I suppose that would make it a cousin to all those “eat your Wheaties” commercials from the early 80s.
