Now, didn’t they die in the 9th season of the original X-Files stopping a bio-terrorist? Well, remember this IS The X-Files after all!
Tom Braidwood, Dean Haglund, and Bruce Harwood will appear in at least one episode of the reboot as the conspiracy theory, government watchdog, counterculture publicists of The Lone Gunmen, no doubt to aid Mulder and Scully once again (or maybe just to have an adventure of their own).
Other X-Files characters returning include Walter Skinner (Mitch Pileggi) and the cigarette-smoking man (William B. Davis).
New footage will be shown Thursday (July 23, 2015) during the season finale of Wayward Pines (Fox, 9/8c).
The X-Files returns to TV for a limited run starting Sunday January 24 2016.
