John Barrowman is used to bringing the house down with any appearance he makes at a convention, but I don’t think ever literally.
That’s exactly what happened today at Planet Comicon in Kansas City, MO when the backdrop fell behind him.
Fortunately the only injury being reported on twitter is a minor one to the sign language interpreter.
*Update* The sign language interpreter was not the one injured, despite early reports, it was an unknown person near the stage.
Ever the showman, he continued on and finished his performance after making sure everyone was alright.
Barrowman broke shit with his mind. The entire backdrop came down. One minor injury to the interpreter. #Planetcomicon pic.twitter.com/mmt0iCGMnz

The stage backdrop collapsing behind John Barrowman at #PlanetComicon reminds me of the curtain falling on Nathan Fillion at Dallas CC 2014
